Oiling ones hair is one of the most important things. We can say that hair oil is a need for anyone and everyone. Oiling is essential for hair. You can use olive oil, coconut oil and sesame oil. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer for all types of skin especially for dry skin it is really effective and can even provide relief from dandruff. Apply coconut oil on your scalp. Massage it from hair roots to end and leave it at least 30 minutes before washing. For best results you can repeat this process three times a week. You can also use a mixture of olive oil, mayonnaise and an egg. Apply it on hair and wash after 20 to 30 minutes.

Pick your shampoo and conditioner

Choose appropriate shampoo and conditioner that’s suits your hair type. Wash your hair regularly. Massage the shampoo into your scalp. Just massages don’t scratch. Use conditioner regularly for soft silky hair. Make sure you rinse hair really well that no shampoo and conditioner is left behind. Rinse your hair with lukewarm or cool water. Using cool water closes hair cuticles, which locks in moisture. Don’t go outside with dirty hair.

Avoid daily Heat Styling 

You should avoid daily heat styling. If heat is required for styling then pick the right heat styling tools. Select a tool with variable heat settings. To avoid the heat related damage use lowest heat setting. Occasionally styling is ok. But don’t always use straightener. The frequent use of straightener will dry out your hair that causes damage.

Protein is necessary for hair because protein builds your hair and keeps it strong. Eat a lot of proteins. Eat fruits and vegetables like banana, citrus fruits, potato spinach, poultry, fish, folic acid, meat and milk. Have foods with vitamin B, C and vitamin D. Drink a lot of water.

Trim your hair time to time at least once in two months. There is no way to “fix” split ends. Split ends lead to more severe hair damage. It affects the smoothness of hair. The only way to deal with split ends is to get rid of them directly by having a small trim.
